Help with learning game and hero points
Hero points are what you spend to unlock skills and traits/specialization. You gain them as you level and by the time you reach 80, you will have enough to unlock all them. However if you want to unlock them earlier you can earn hero points from hero challenges.

Hero challenges are marked on the map and appear when you unveil previously unexplored territory.

open your world map.
Hover the cursor on the vistas. It should highlight all the relative vista locations.
I am wonder if that feature is bugged right now
What level is the max char on your account?
All the map features dont open up untill your 18 with your first one I belive it was then anyway.
