Hello everyone!

I have a little question. After I had some luck with a Black Lion Chest, I got a few gold.

Now Eternity was something I thought about then and when.

My question is, which way would be the “better” way:
- Buying Sunrise OR Twilight and craft the other one from the scratch
- Buying Dawn AND Dusk and craft both legendaries

I might be able to do one of those two possibilities and like many others I want to have the least possible work afterwards for creating the Legendaries.

Thanks for your opinion :)

If you buy Dawn and Dusk, and assuming you have zero mats for legendaries, it would cost about 2500 more gold to get the mats to craft both Sunrise and Twilight.

Which is almost exactly what it costs to craft either one of those from scratch. Technically you save a few dozen gold by buying 1 legendary and crafting the other one, but that amount is inconsequential considering how much they each cost. Note that these prices are based on the buy orders for the mats on the TP. If you just buy what is listed for instant sale you will be spending quite a bit more gold

As is always the case, crafting is always cheaper but as well more time-consuming since it requires so many currencies and mats. When I made sunrise and later twilight, the cost for both in regards was roughly 1.2k gold, though the precursor ended up being a huge portion of that since it sold on tp for around 700-900g at the time, but I imagine it’s a lot cheaper now cos of precursor crafting at all.

So think of this way would u wanna buy out legendary for 2k or craft one for half that much if you knew it take u 2-3 months to farm for all the necessary mats. As to which is faster route it generally depends how much gold u can make and how quickly. If you’re making around 20g a day then yeah I’d craft and u can do the math on whether it’s less time consuming to buy precursor from tp or craft it, but if u are earning alot more then yeah it might just make more sense to sit on ur gold and then later buy out the legendary since it would be faster. Again up to u what u wanna do but in general crafting is always cheaper than tp price except for a few choice exceptions which is actually not the case. Since it’s related to precursor crafting then I will list one example I used for Eureka crafting which I’m almost done with:

  • Oiled Small Ancient Haft – base cost (mats): 4.2g, buy order (tp): 1g

So yeah u can see the difference between these two options. When using the wiki u can use ‘show base ingredients’ and it’ll automatically calc the mats cost so u don’t have to. Though sometimes there are workarounds that actually save even more cost from what wiki states, but I won’t bother listing these as u can figure them out
