Guild Wars 2

A friend of mine directed me to watch WoodenPotato’s videos on guild wars lore.
but the summery video’s is incomplete and i forgot which video’s from that guy she told me to watch to understand GW’s lore.

Any place that lists down the entire Lore on guild wars? i already tried the Wiki but they are scattered in bits and pieces i don’t know where to start.

Yea unfortunately you’re going to get it in pieces. History is not one narrow story, but a collection of events that span large areas and many people. Try finding a summary of the GW1 story and that should give you the broad strokes. Might have to just read the summaries of each sequential mission. History is broad. Be prepared to take a fair amount of time learning it.

The site of Guild Wars 2 gives you a lot of information on its own. It gives you background information of the races, proffesions, and explains how Dungeons and other things work. The video that says ‘’What is Guild Wars 2?’’ tells you the story of Tyria. If you have any questions about some things, you can always ask more questions on this forum.

WP’s video’s are a bad bad source for lore. He is a nice story-teller, but he mixes his own fantasy up with reality, making assumptions that turn out to be wrong etc.

A good way for lore is by reading the lore pages on the gw1 wiki and the gw2 wiki and specially the timelines.

the lore pages in the wiki’s are usually just bits and pieces, i guess i have to patch it up myself later on.
i was hoping to find somewhere that puts the pieces together for me in the right timeline as well
