Guild Wars 2

I was just wondering if there any helpful servers out there. I’ve been having some bad experiences with the one I’m currently on. Mean people, trolls, etc.

So really, all I’m asking for is a helpful server that has little to no queue times for WvW (This is the only thing I like about the server I’m currently playing on.). It would be helpful to have short queue times, but I don’t care if it’s not possible. A good community is a lot more important to me than this. I hope you guys can help me. Thanks!

I’m on Isle of Janthir and have always found it to be a good group. people who’ll help randomly in map chat and the like. doesn’t have much queue time in WvW, I think the most I’ve experienced has been 15 mins. it is a fairly full server though, so might be difficult to get in at peak times, but if you’re ok to wait, then it is possible.

If you are looking for a Eu server try Gunnar’s Hold- great community

SoR is good, but don’t mention you are from another server or they’ll harass you haha, but we treat all “natives” really well. Queue time depends on our enemies, we take huge part in WvW so it’s usually high queue in the beginning but evens out as it goes on.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Doing research on the servers and there’s certain things I like about some and certain things I like about others. So I’m having a hard time deciding. I can tell these must be some good servers though, because you guys were even nice enough to respond to my post. :P

All the mentioned are good servers as I know some of these folks here and a lot on the mentioned servers.

If EU:
Gunnar’s Hold (Good folks, good WvW from what I’ve seen)
Aurora Glade (Good folks, more suited to the serious PvE stuff, average WvW, currently getting smashed by GH. AG doesn’t play WvW that much)

If NA:
Sanctum of Rall (Good folks and community, good all round)
Tarnished Coast (Relaxed atmosphere, unofficial RP server)

These are the ones I’ve had most experience about from Operation: Union and the members feedback and talks.

Tarnished Coast is the unofficial roleplay server- I moved to it from Yak’s Bend a while ago and haven’t regretted it. It does have some trolls and kittenhats, but the majority of players here have been friendly and mature; I’ve also had the fortune of coming across a small but active and welcoming guild. From what I know as a pure PvE player, it’s also fairly active in WvW, though it isn’t the server’s defining trait.

Maguuma isnt bad. Rarely a WvW queue, and people are generally friendly in map chat and dungeons. Moved here from Dragonbrand a while back and it has been a good move.
