Hi,

I’m a long time on-and-off casual player. Let’s say I have a lvl 10 character with some spent Hero Points (via Hero Challenges in the world). What happens when I boost to 80? Are the points I usually get for leveling auto applied to all the <80 skill lines, or am I given them to distribute as I see fit. I ask because I used about 15 points in low level skills, and I’m wondering if I wasted them.

If I get a pool of hero points that are unallocated, that’d make me feel better.

you didn’t waste them. if you boost to 80, you get just enough points to unlock everything, hero challenge points are extra, even if you spent them early.

edit to add: by everything I mean every core skill and trait line.

yep, you can use them as you see fit. they are not auto allocated anywhere

It doesn’t really matter though.

Just levelling to 80 gives enough points to get all core traits and skills. To unlock Elite specs, you have to finish all core specs, and likely all skills too, so you’re going to have to spend them anway…

That’s not true. When you use the boost, it auto-unlocks all skills and traits except the HoT elite ones. You cannot use them as you see fit. In reality, this makes no difference though because you would unlock all skills and traits anyway, it just saves you some clicking. The boost even automatically sets up your traits and adds skills to the bar.

When you have used 15 hero points for skills already and then use the boost, alls skills and traits will be unlocked and you will have 15 free hero points.
