Highest Ranged Damage Setup?
Depending on how far your thinking, inside 1000 or 1200 or as much as 1500?
Inside 1000 it’s tough competition though some may argue Elementlist takes the cake.
1500 is ranger, can DH shoot that far?
I don’t play other professions, so I vote ranger!
It’s staff ele. The range is 1200. A ranger can go farther however their DPS does not come close to staff ele. Over 1000 you are looking at line of sight issues anyway so Rangers 1500 range isn’t always that advantageous.
Sounds pretty concise to me.

But from what I have gathered thus far, Ele appears to be

That line of sight thing is annoying, especially when the longbow does the most damage when the target is farther away.

If it comes to ranged dps no class can beat ele but thing dont work that way staff ele has major weakness – if target move outside of aoe ring = massive dps drop but in that case ele will have to use dagger/x still have very close dps compare to staff but melee.
So ranger and shatter mes might good in this as well.
