While doing an event I was hit by “Unknown” using Explode. I’ve been hit by “Unknown” a few times where it does more damage than I have health so I go from full health to dead in a second. Happened again today (different event, different map). Anyone know what this is?

“Environmental” damage sources? (Like the perpetual carpet bombing in the south of Dredgehaunt Cliffs) What was the event?

Today it was at Quandry Scratch in Mount Maelstorm. Waves of mobs were invading. I was standing inside. Two days ago it was in Sparkfly Fen at the invasion event that happens by the heart west of the way point in Astrozintli Forelands. I don’t remember where the others were.

I also encountered this one several times, did the search and many ppl thinks that these are Risen Plaguecarrier self-destructing explosion. But, that is unfortunately not this case, these mobs also apply conditions and I´ve never been hit for more than my max HP was.
This unknown “explode” thing seems more like a bug of some sort, because it happened to me even on places where the Risen aren´t present (Iron marches for example), and no object like catapult or similar were there. Maybe a devs should explain what is that, it´s kinda annoying to be killed by “Unknown”
