HoM Points Questions...
With 6 points you can get an infinite number of copies of all 3 armor skin.
Since you already have existing characters you might already have 6 points. Log in and open their birthday presents to see if you have any green and yellow mini. That will cover any mini(1), rare mini(1), unique mini(+1). Even if you don’t get those with 2 lv20s I assume at least one has finished Prophecies so that should be 1 statue so another +1. Depending on what armors they have that is potentially another +1 or +2.

Just white and blue minis. Pretty sure both have finished Prophecies, assuming Hell’s Precipice is the end, but no EoTN so I’m guessing, no statues.

That assumes EotN since you can’t go beyond 3 without it…
The point is that it would take an hour or less to get there and get those points.
I’ll buy EoTN then and do that, thanks!
first off all you need to have a level 10 character in gw1.
This can be done in 60 minutes in factions, 3 hours in nightfall and 6 hours in prophecy’s.
Even then you need the port town. In nightfall thats no problem cause you basicly start there. In factions and prophecy’s it can be an issue. It was allready hard to get runners (and they cost coin) when the game was still very active, but I imagine it is even harder today. If that isn’t the case you need to open it up yourself.
In prophecy’s that means bout two hours of running with a low level character and limited henchman if you don’t get help.
In factions it means you need to do a mission (Zen Daijun) that is pretty hard with only henchman, so count 3 hours for that too.
When you make it to the port town you can do the quest to go to the eye of the north. this is pretty doable with henchman, but it acutally is better in factions where they are level 20 (max level). When at boreal station you can swtch some henchman for the first heroes you just unlocked and it will be a lot easier to get to the eye of the north outpost and the hall of monuments.
So, all in all, factions would be the best place to start, but try to find help with Zen Daijun.
Also make sure that you choose ranger as your primary or secundary character.
From here on, look for good guides on the HoM points. but bottom line is that you can easily make another 3 points in bout 3-4 more hours.
some hints:
use tolkano to get some free zaishen keys you can sell for starter money (once per account, but you get free tournament points by talking to the priest and then to tolkano, trade those points for keysand sell the keys)
Level up to level 20 (90 minutes if you have factions and do quests in the main town), create a pvp ranger, put the level 20 wolf in the zaishen menagery, then pick itup there with your pve characetr and display it in the HoM
If you have all campaigns, put the hero M.O.X. on display.
Use the money you gained from Tolkano to buy mini’s and if needed an extra tapestry.
The best is to have a gw2 guildmember with a gw1 account to help and show you around and get past the difficult points.
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
