Hi,

Wondering if anyone who has bought the pre-purchases can clarify if you get the character slot (Deluxe) or gems (Ultimate) or any of the other items listed as bonuses as soon as you pre-purchase or if you have to wait until HoT releases to gain access to these things?

Sorry if the title is weird. Hard to fit some questions in 45 characters.

With the Deluxe or Ultimate version, you will automatically receive all of the digital rewards (Character Slot, Gems, Mini Revenant Rytlock, Mordremoth’s Bane Guild Hall Decoration, Heart of Thorns Glider Skin), plus you’ll see an extra ‘Beta’ character slot right away too.

The Glider skin you can unlock right away, but since the UI doesn’t have that section available yet, it will seem like it’s just disappeared.

Guild Decoration just takes up inventory space until guild halls are available to use it.

I got my items immediately upon logging in.

However, I’m a completely new player so I didnt have the base game before… I’ve heard from other not so new players that after prepurchasing it takes a few hours for the items to appear in mail.

Log out > Log in

You get them the next time you log in, which means if you buy the expansion in-game you’ll have to log out and back in to get them.
