How To Private Guild?
You have to build any upgrades. For vaults, you have to build things in the Architecture section. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Guild_Vault
For emblems, you have to upgrade something in Politics.
This will all change with HoT, but for now, check out
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Guild
…specifically the Upgrades section.
Also, keep in mind (because i ran into this issue doing the same thing) that guild banks can’t hold any account-bound items. So make sure of that before you spend all that time/money getting your vault ;]

“Players cannot open a guild vault until 72 hours after they have joined, in part to prevent it from being used by gold sellers.”
Ah, how would that discourage a gold seller? They’d just wait the 72 hours like the rest of us.

cause at this way the player have 72 hrs to talk to support before the goldseller steal all out of the guild vault?

It’s highly unlikely a guild would know to report a person until theft had already happened. And Anet doesn’t get involved in guild problems, including guild bank things.

Prior to this restriction, gold sellers would invite a buyer into the guild, who would then withdraw coin or items. Bots would do something similar to distribute their “ill-gotten” gains by inviting gold sellers (to whom they were selling gold etc). In other words, the guild bank was a viable method for laundering money, in a way that wasn’t as easy to track.
The “must be a member for 3 days” prevents this type of laundering and also opportunistic theft from guilds that haven’t set robust access rules for new members.
It’s been 5 days and I still don’t have access to the guild bank. I’m a box to pay not a f2p players tho I don’t have HoT.

Could to take a screenshot of what it says?
make sure your ranking has access to the bank storage levels you have created.
All my characters are level 80.

You have to build the bank itself after getting Architecture leveled up. (it’s there under the options to build)
Yeah, like I said in the very first reply to this thread, you have to build any upgrades (including the guild bank).

It means the buyers have to wait 72 hours between paying for the gold and receiving it. Which means that the price gold buyers pay much be significantly cheaper than the price they would pay for the same amount of gold through gems, because using gems doesn’t have a waiting period. Call that the inconvenience discount.
Okay I get it now. But the wording was confusing on the wiki. And no offense the first thing you said to me was also confusing. Being as I’ve never encountered a system like this before. A “you must look on your guild tab and click a button there” would have made sense. I’m a very tactile thinker. The npc in Lion’s Arch lets you buy points for game money that buys upgrades on your guild tab. Otherwise that npc is useless to someone trying to get their guild bank up and running. The wiki needs better elaboration. Why would I make the mental jump between “you need to upgrade” to the fact that upgrading was something done on a specific guild tab? Basically, you need to click around in the upgrades until you find the one that leads to opening a guild bank and, get this, you have to upgrade TWICE before it will work. For someone single playing (is not inviting anyone into their guild) that isn’t flying their guild flag that means you have to buy guild influence from the npc at Lion’s Arch to be able to afford two upgrades.

You need more upgrades then that, so you can’t just very easy get a guild vault, but it is doable, and most players have at least one extra guild bank for personal use.
