Guild Wars 2

As the title asks. I have custom playlists set up, but I have hours worth of music in each of them. I’d love to instead have the songs be randomized, as compared to just playing in an order. I’ve noticed every time I load the game, it’s always the same song (the first song in my MainMenu playlist).

Any way to do this? Thanks a lot, folks!

P.S. I used this tool to build my custom playlists; I highly recommend it!

I don’t know if this still works (I did it in Beta Weekend 2), but

make a dummy mp3 for the first song in the playlist. I did it with a second of silence. This works because the first song is always played first, and /then/ the whole playlist is randomized.

Sadly your trick did not work, Naked Fiddle. I both added a silent mp3 manually just using a media player and with the playlist editor I put in my original post, yet the order of songs is still the same. Drat!
