Guild Wars 2

At some point I put a few armor/weapon drops in my bank. I’m referring to the bank you can access at crafting stations (see attached screenshot).

I’d like to remove those items and salvage them. But when I drag them over to my container, the slot is highlighted in red and the item won’t move over.

The only available options seem to be to right-click on them and preview them or destroy them.

Any way I can salvage them?

It sounds as though the items in question are soulbound to another character. Try hovering your pointer over one and see if there is red text saying so. If that’s the case you’ll need to find the toon they belong to in order to withdraw/salvage the items.

You can’t move items that are soul bound to one character to another via the bank. The bank keeps track of who owns a soul bound item. Account bound, no problem.
