Yes, I’m a newbie and just started today. When I find a new vista/etc, I get a little progress bar that fades away. How do I check my completion % after it fades away?

(I’ve checked achievements, but I don’t see it in there.)

Click the M for map it shows how much you have completed for that map and the over all maps. Make sure you click the eye in the lower left corner of the main map check all the boxes. That shows every thing on the maps.

I’d like to know how many vistas/points of interest/etc I’ve found (numbers, not icons). I’ve just looked on the map, and I don’t see it there.

Look at the world map. The completion amount for the map you’re currently in AND the amount of world completion you’ve done will be shown in the upper left corner (showing how many hearts, POIs, waypoints, vistas, and skill points you have completed out of the total amounts).

It’s not on my map. How do I get it to appear? Options?

Top left corner of map mode lists numbers. Also if you hover over map names in map mode it breaks down the numbers.

It’s possible. There were some changes made to this sort of thing a few months ago, and they affect completely new accounts more than old ones creating new characters. If the bar hasn’t appeared by the time you get to level 15, then come back and let us know

You need to be in the zone to see it. Otherwise you would see the completion of another zone. If you see no completion at all, its weird. Maybe post a screenshot of your map so we can see what you have. Maybe you are in a zone where there is no completion map (the 2 new maps don’t count in the world completion, don’t remember if they show up in map completion).

Alternatively, if you put your mouse over the name of a zone (in the big map), it will give your map completion.

You’ll have to forgive the crudeness of this, I just whipped it up real quick. The image attached is a screen of my map, I was in Divinity’s Reach at the time. The first arrow pointing to the left, indicated by 1, points to total world completion. Including the hearts, poi’s and vistas etc. The second arrow points to zone completion. This is usually what you see when you press M.
