Guild Wars 2

Hi there So I was guesting in sea of sorrows with some friends and I saw a guild advertising a guild bounty run. So I joined up with the guild, made sure i was representing and then set off with a giant zerg to vanquish the bosses ( i was representing before they started the bounty)! Now I was there when we tracked down both bosses and got hits on both of them. I got credit for completing the event but no credit whatsoever for the guild missions. My home world isn’t sea of sorrows, is that why I didn’t get credit? or is this a bug? I can’t think of anything I missed. any help would be appreciated

All I’ve ever read on restrictions just says no WvW. That there were no PvE restrictions of this type.

OP, I suggest you send in a bug report. That doesn’t sound right.

Edit: after doing a little searching, it appears that this has happened to other people. I would still send in a bug report, but it may be that people who guest don’t get full credit because of the way guilds only gain influence from people from their own server, or something like that. They were hashing it out in the various threads.

I just did a guild mission with my guild, the members that started it were on a different server, and I was guesting there. The reward I got from killing both champions was a whole 1.3s. Most disappointing.
