Q:
How do I record my gaming?
A:
To do this you’re going to need to: 1) record, 2) edit, 3) post.
The two popular options for recording (or at least they were) are bandicam and fraps.
Fraps provides better quality video but Bandicam offers real time video compression which can be very useful if you have limited disk space (recordings may take 2GB/min uncompressed)
They cost ~ $39 each but have free versions available.
Bandicam is the better free version, you can record up to 10 minutes with a small watermark added (here’s an example). Fraps’s free version is terrible, limiting you to 30 seconds of recording.
For video editing you might want to just start with Windows Movie Maker (assuming you use Windows Vista+). For Windows 8 you’ll need to download it from Microsoft it’s in their free Essentials suite.
Uploading your video to youtube is pretty easy. If you have a google account, you should see an “Upload” button on youtube.com when you’re signed in.
For editing and uploading you’ll probably want to research some guides online.

I dont know of any software to do this but look it up online. there are probably a ton of reviews and if you’re playing on pc which you should be if you want to do this all you have to do is download the software and run it while you play. It will record the gameplay although it might make your fps slower so be wary of which recorder you choose. Also get a video editor
I use MSI Afterburner for recording. The full version is also free, and just like bandicam, has some of the best live compression options.
I gt around 1GB per minute with recording.
For editing i use Sony vegas pro 11, and i love it! Ive tried other programs that are supposedly muh better, bt theyre also muh more complicated :/.
For some reason i cant render MP4 with sony vegas, but thats probably my laptop being weird. I had to render WMv, whih is alot worse on youtube :/.
With my settings i gt something like this . It would be much better in MP4 though :/. File size is about 1.5 GB for this whole video, i think.
edit: MsI afterburner doesnt work with all grapic cards! if you use it on an uncompatible one, it may result in your hardware being samqged

Enjin Client is a free program, it allows you to do many things. Be connected to social medias, view YouTube, through it’s in game Browser, and even record gameplay, with sound! I’m not sure how much space it takes though, but the video quality is alright.
I know I am late ringing in but…I use Overwolf which is a Overlay system thats new and in beta…..but there is lots of apps in OW you can add to make your gaming more fun. One of the things I like about the video recorder app is that once you make a video you can watch it right in game to see if you need to do any more recording before tabbing out of the game.
A few of my favorite apps are Calculator, Browser, Music Player, GW2Overpowered which is like some of the other temple timers, and a built in TeamSpeak overlay which has a better look than the one that comes with TS. If you have the newest TS, OW can start right from the main toolbar.
What little I’ve done I use the following work flow
Record with Fraps (I bought the full version like 3 or 4 years ago. You buy it once and the patches/updates are free after that) usually half screen resolution. your processor may be better than mine or your video card may be better so you might try full screen capture.
Edit with KDEnlive to add music and transitions etc. Save file as the highest quality I can…I think I used NTSC DVD or some such, but it’s been a while and I can’t remember. KDEnlive is Free.
Upload to Youtube. Youtube will convert it to flash and WebM and a variety of resolution settings.
Some specs of my system that may influence recording etc.
