I just started this game, people are telling me dodge is important.

I’m using a sceptor and whenever i dodge, the auto attack gets reset and it doesn’t attack anymore and ihave to click on the mosnter again and i lose out of DPS.

How can i make it so that it is still attacking after dodge?

Just queue up another skill, any skill, although just hitting #1 for your auto attack usually works best and you aren’t really losing out on any dps.

If he’s a Mesmer and he doesn’t re-do his scepter auto attack fast enough, he’ll lose the chain. But other than that, just make sure you have the enemy targeted in the first place and just press 1.

This is actually a bug which some people are experiencing.
