You’ll then have the option to select how many of the item you want to split off into the new stack.
I had the hardest time remembering that until I realized that Altdrag Splitstack is a fantabulous Norn name. Just remember your good friend Altdrag.
(And if the person that took that name ever deletes the character, give me a heads up? I have a burly redheaded Norn Engineer waiting to draw breath, but that’s the name he needs -grins-).
