I’ve searched around for this but haven’t been able to find an answer yet so sorry if this is a repeat… But, how do I unlock my traits? I’m level 15 now and have a few trait points, but can’t apply them. The game tells me I need to go the an elementalist trainer to unlock them, and a post here says I need 11 silver (which I have) but for the life of me I can’t find the trainer… can anyone help? I’m an elementalist and assume there’s one (a trainer) hiding in the grove, but I can’t find him, please help!

Hi, the trainers are in the capital cities and starter areas. They are marked in the minimap with a blue book icon. So just go to the starter area, and look for the icon. They should be pretty close to where you started at.

You have to pay the Trait Tax.

Find an elemental trainer, they can usually be found by the area where you started at lvl 1. He will sell you a book for 10 silver. that will unlock your ability to use traits.

Thanks for the speedy response, guys. I finally found him. If anyone else is having trouble as an elementalist, the trainer is in the grove, on the third (top?) level of the grove on the east side of the map, marked by a red book.
