Early on I could ‘join’ with friends on other servers in the overflow area and then prowl the PvE areas together. Now that the population has settled out and most zones have no overflow, how do I PvE with friends on other servers? Is there a way to force an overflow, or travel to their server?

Invite your friend(s) to party, then travel to the same zone they are in (say, Lion’s Arch). Once you are all in the same zone, right click your friends portrait and select join in (in this case, Lion’s Arch).

If your friends are on another server you currently have to change server so that you are both on the same server. Currently the server transfers are free, so there is nothing stopping you from switching server.

Later, you’ll have to pay for server transfers but they will introduce a “guesting” feature that lets you join any other server for PvE and PvP, so your server only decides who you play for in WvW.

Guesting isn’t functional yet. It’s a feature that’s coming soon™

Marodac that only works if you are in an over-flow, or same server. No Join option once your on other servers, we tried.

Guess we will have to stick to doing dungeons together till guesting is complete.
