Hello guys.
Before the 15th patch i always used gw2state to check for example where and when temple of balthazar is open to buy obsidian shards.
But right now none of the websites works anymore, and i dont see temple of balthazar on events list.

Just go to the map, and check if its open.

Yeah but you can just be in vigil keep and check if its open from there, and its always closed, i am sure there is no megaserver on straits of devastation so theres no point in going there realy :/

The megaserver is on all maps now

Due to megaserver on all maps it’s now impossible to know if a temple is open or not without going to the map.

Park yourself on the map that you want to do the temple of. Wait for it to open.

Hopefully they increase the frequency of the events so that people can do them more often.

Every waypoint that is contestable, will be shown contestable until you go into the map and check yourself. With megaservers, i have seen balthazar open more often than before and if its not, the pre event is usually underway.

If you’ve progressed far enough in your Personal Story, use the Asura Gate to Fort Trinity at the Vigil HQ (Each Order has a gate to Fort Trinity). Cuts some silver off waypointing, then just Waypoint to the entrance WP and take a look see.

Check the statues to see which ones are still active.

Straits was one of the very first maps that were on megaserver.

That technically/currently isn’t true. It may just be bugging out, but I have seen waypoints that can be contested, show as not contested (and thus I could waypoint there), from a different map.

Ones I’ve visited being on a different map, but they could be contestable:
-Citadel of Flame Waypoint
-Crucible of Eternity Waypoint
-Cloven Hoof Waypoint (for Ulgoth)
—-This one was actually contested once I warped there, so it gave me the standard waypoint you warped to is contested message. But it still put me at the waypoint, so no skin off my back.
-Random others I can’t remember the name of.

My unscientifically proven theory is that it’s still drawing up data of your current megaserver’s state (which includes more than the map you’re on?) and displaying it. It’s just what I’m assuming, since I’ve been plunked onto the same 2-3 megaservers, sometimes for days, based on node placement.

Sorta similar to how before, when you visited Hall of Monuments (which has no home server version I think), many currently contested waypoints were shown as free?

This is a very large reason to advance your personal story to open the portals at Fort Trinity (so you can at LEAST get into Straits of Devastation for 0g).

Just harvest some Herbs / Cayenne Pepper and you have your portcosts faster back than the time you loose with multiple loading screens.
