I’m rather confused on how to make gold right now. I spent a lot on crafting and on my Grandmaster’s Training Manual. I’m at Lv.61 and I don’t know how to farm gold. Any tips? I know I can buy gems and exchange for gold but I want to see if there’s a way around that.

You kill things. If your focus is just on obtaining the money then stop salvaging things and sell them on the TP if they are worth it and merchant them if they are not.

do dungeon runs they make plenty of cash, AC(ascalon catacombs) SE(sorrows embrace) are quick and easy. esspecially AC and they give you collectables to trade for exotic armors.

and dont underestimate the trading post. sell items you dont want no matter what they are for just over the merchant value. youll be surprised how much money can be made passivly this way.

When I play again tomorrow I’ll most likely do some dungeons.

Higher level zones tend to give you generally (minium) blue items. These can be sold to the merchant between ~60-90 copper. In an hour or so you should be able to get at least 1G.

The tricks are:

- knowing a good “circular” path through the zone
- aggroing several mobs at the same time
- doing it with other players

I got quite a bit from the Tixx event.

I sell everything that can be sold in the TP.

Everything.

20g so far, no max level characters (62 is the highest) and I crafted my first character in 2 professions pretty far and spent several gold in gear/crafting along the way.

Now everything get sold. I can craft later.

I struggle to make gold myself. There was another guide out here recently that talked about making gold. It basically said to go do dungeons and fractals all day, or long chains in Orr (all of which I don’t like doing, at all), and never craft, because that wastes money (and that’s one of my favorite things).

So for someone like me, who enjoys playing the game, I apparently enjoy the wrong things, if I expect to make money.
