Contract Asuran Outsourcing – A freelance Asuran Lab will help you develop one upgrade without using up one of your work slots.

So I’ve been talking to some people and everyone has a different say on how this works. The way I understand it is, it takes whatever is NEXT in your queue and starts building it but that it does not count towards your 2 slot limit.

So does that mean if I use it on a building with a 5 day build time… for the next 5 days that upgrade won’t count toward my 2 slot limit? Or does it just allow you to build a third upgrade and whenever one upgrade is finished you need to use “Outsourcing” again?

Also which building is it applied to when you use it? Is it just whatever is built next? Or do their need to be 2 things queued up and the third thing in the queue will have “Outsourcing” applied to it?

My understanding of the way this upgrade works, and the way that I have used it, is that it activates and begins building the next item in your queue, whatever that may be. That item will continue to build, for whatever duration it has, without using up your actual build slots.
Because building starts in any free slot as soon as it enters the queue, you must fill your open slots before using the outsourcing. However, if your actual slots complete before the outsourcing slot completes, then you will still be able to use your two actual slots for more upgrades while the outsourced lab continues on your third.

All of this assuming you have the guild workshop upgrade and so have 2 main slots for building. Hopefully this makes sense.

That is my understanding of the way it works also but according to my guild it might be glitched on the 5 day upgrades? Since we used an Outsourcing on it but it did not work

Ah…I thought you were just using the 5 day as an example. If you’re asking about a glitch specific to those upgrades then I’m afraid I don’t know. Perhaps someone who has done some big upgrades more recently will stop in and let you know. Good luck.
