How does chat suppression exactly work?
I don’t know about the times, but it’s my understanding it suppresses when the messages are identical. Try varying them. Actually though I doubt anyone besides ANet knows the details.

“If you send messages too frequently (unspecified), subsequent messages will be blocked for an undetermined (and possibly variable) length of time with “Your message was suppressed due to excessive messaging.” displayed in your chat window."

Thank you. Then linked way points seem to not count to message variation too. And also not different words, only the amount of words.
1. spider at [way point]
2. troll at [way point]
3. centaur at [way point]
4. Your message was suppressed due to excessive messaging.
I had noticed before that linking waypoints will get you suppressed. Maybe try not only different numbers of words but alternate before and after. Or add a few random letters or punctuation.
1. Spider at [wp]
2. [wp] troll wp …..
3 centaur here next [wp] ,,,,,
Time definitely factors in. When calling I’ve noticed that you can mix up your wording and still get suppressed anyway. You need to use longer sentences.(Yeah, it’s a pain.) But eventually you’ll still get suppressed by making too many (non-identical) posts in a certain period of time. If you are a commander, tag up and use squad chat. If not, get people to help you with the calls, or see if you can get a commander interested in your project.(I am, that’s one already.)
I’m positive Anet will not share the details about suppression, because spammers could take advantage of that knowledge. So we need to do our best to work with the tools that we have. Because they won’t lighten up suppression until certain issues get resolved.(if ever) And we will never get the details on how suppression actually works. Trust me on that.
Anet will NEVER tell. They don’t want gold sellers to know (and I don’t want them to either). From what I have seen, the rules vary from time to time and they may even depend on how long your character has been in the zone.
