Guild Wars 2

Im new and was browsing armor sets and I really like the grasping dead armor set. Is this set considered hard to get or time consuming?

Specifically I just want the chest and leggings. I want to make sure it isn’t as hard to get as say the legendary greatsword.

I’m more of a casual gamer, I can’t spend 8+ hours a day gaming, so I want to know if this set is a realistic goal.

Grasping Dead armor is the Arah explorable dungeon armor set so depending on how you feel about dungeons it may or not be accessible to you. A possible alternative to running the dungeon itself is to play sPvP with the Arah reward track active – that’ll net you tokens as well as a free armor piece at the end. It’d take a while that way, but it’s not inaccessible even if you’re bad at PvP, as you’ll get progress toward it even on losing matches.

Another possible alternative is to simply buy arah paths for the tokens (you get 60 tokens each path). I usually sell p1/2 for guildies or for people that I know for as low as 4g, that way you barely lose any gold and also get tokens. PM me ingame if you are interested, I usually run it once around reset.
