How is guild Influence awarded?
The influence tally doesn’t update immediately for stuff like events and dungeon runs.
For a single person guild you are better off buying the influence with gold. Mining a single rich platinum node gets you the same influence as doing 39 or more events.
In a one account guild with numerous characters, how is this awarded?
If I do Tequatyl and then the Svanir Chief, that should be 10 events for 20 influence, right? Ten awards are recieved for completing each of the two event cycles.
If I then log to a different character and look at influence, I see the last character did 2 events for 4 influence. Is this working correctly?
These should help.

Thank You.
I had checked 2 of those. It looks like it’s basically not trackable in less than one day increments. That might be what is causing the problem.
I suspect it is not giving log in credit accurately because it looks like it’s not tracking events done per character accurately.
Anyone else seeing issues with the log in credit part of influence, in one player guilds?
Some days you may get credit for all the players logged on some days not. It is very inconsistent and random how it is awarded. Which I find to be very poorly done. We did put a ticket in about this and got a BS lame canned answer.
Influence earned from events, dungeons, and PVP is updated hourly. Influence earned from log in credit is tracked daily (and only awards to the guild repped upon log in). In both cases the influence is added to your total immediately so you haven’t lost anything, it’s just harder to tell where it came from until it updates in the history.
To verify log in credit is being applied look at your current influence total before switching characters and then look again. You should see a ten point increase. One anomaly that could affect this is when your characters are logging in to the same zone. If this is the case you sometimes don’t get credit for all characters. Once I started leaving my characters in different zones when I logged out (allowing for different zones on log in) I never had an issue getting credit for log in again.
