Guild Wars 2

…did I need to play to unlock stuff in Guild Wars 2?

I have all 3 of the original Guild Wars games. All were activated and (I think) my accounts are linked with GW2. But, when I go to the Hall of monuments in GW2, it’s empty.

Did I have to complete the campaigns of the originals or collect certain things for them to show up here?

All I really wanted were the ranger pets

to clarify, you need the Eye of the North expansion, and you need to record your accomplishments in the Hall of Monuments. If you have done nothing except link your accounts, you should have 3 points (and some heritage armor unlocked), but this assumes that you have GW:EN. If you don’t, then you will have 0 points and no HoM loot.

If it’s completely empty and the calculator is saying you should have some stuff you might be coming up against a bug. (I thought they’d fixed it but maybe not.)

If the calculator says you have unlocked some rewards try changing your server and visiting the HoM on the new one (specifically if you’re on an EU server switch to US), you should be able to get your rewards there, then when you return to your original server they should still be available.
