I just wanted to know how much time do u need to lvl max i really like the game its amazing i want to complete 100% map completion

It depends on how much time you spend in game I suppose and what approach you take. I’ve been playing for 3 months and due to time constraints and my play style I’m at 19% completion.

My suggestion is play the way you like to have fun without worrying about leveling. The titles under your characters name as well as leveling will usually come along through the corse of play. Map completion is a great goal but in my opinion is one that should occur somewhat naturally as you explore and take in the content of the game.

Of course if your play style is to reach level cap quickly, which is fair if that is your goal, you can expedite it by maxing crafting if you have the gold for the mats. But since your goal is map completion you should level rather fast as well because you get good xp for exploring.

lvling to 80 can be done quickly (although expensively) through levelling in a day
map completion; depends on how dedicated you are to it; ive been playing (wayy to much) since headstart and my highest char is 60%; could probably knock out a zone a day pretty easily though (maybe two for the bigger zones – lornars pass); more if you’re a bit more hardcore

Both those things can vary a lot. Doing map completion after the first time can go much faster so you should keep that in mind when looking at how long it takes other people. For example there is a heart in Blazeridge Steppes which would take the usual couple of minutes if done normally or you can stand at one spot and spam F to do it in seconds.

For world completion the most important thing to be aware of is the status of the WvW maps unless your server tends to hold every map(this is much less likely with the new matchmaking system) you’ll want to grab whatever is available whenever possible. You can use http://mos.millenium.org/ to check the status of the maps without entering WvW which might require queuing. This also means if you are on a server that is particularly bad in WvW then world completion could literally take ‘forever’.

It took me about 350 hours spread across 7 months to get my first character to level 80. You can probably consider that the upper limit because you’d have to make a special effort to do it any slower.

(I’m a very slow leveller because I spend a lot of time doing things that, even in this game, don’t reward XP. When I’m exploring a map I’ll stop and talk to every named NPC, watch dialogue between them, climb everything in case it’s a puzzle or leads to something cool, stop to take screen shots etc.)

If you focus on getting XP – going straight from one point on the map to the next as soon as you’ve got it, stopping only to gather crafting materials or do dynamic events (and ideally doing events that get you credit towards nearby hearts as well) and you can play for several hours a day you can probably do it in a few days.

Alternatively you can do something in between. I think for most people levelling in this game is relatively easy because everything you do rewards XP and there is no levelling curve, getting from 79 to 80 takes the same amount of XP as 1 to 2.

You can get to level 80 very quickly by crafting, but it’s expensive because you’ll need to buy the materials, and if you’re wanting map completion anyway you may as well do the two together.

to level 80: the average time per level is 2 hours of gameplay, this means bout 160 hours. This also is when you are seriously playing. I like to chat a lot in game with people, or admire a nice vista. That is for leveling offcourse lost time.

There are also ways of boosting this up through e.g. crafting. However, for that you need to resources.
