How often is Southsun Cove played on?
I very rarely see anyone there on TC. I think the last time saw an actual group of people some guild mission was going on or something like that. You don’t need to transfer to check out other servers since you can guest there and see if the map is populated. Try all the very high population servers and see what turns up.

Yeah, I’ve guested a few so far
Since you said you’d guested on TC I assume you’re on the American servers. In which case I can’t help with suggestions of which ones to use.
But I know I’ve seen it active on several of the more populated EU servers so I would have thought it’d be the same. Look for any server with a lot of people doing PvE generally and you’ll probably find a group there.

No, by saying that I’ve Guested a few so far I didn’t mean I guested TC! Sorry for the inconvenience xD I’m in European Servers
Southsun is usually only visited by guilds doing guild missions or a zerg there to do the karka queen. Other than that, the place is empty except for the occasional small group farming karka shells or other farmers off the coast.
IThe place is pretty much a ghost town on most servers most of the time.
I go there for the chests and resources, I usually run into at least one other person but not many stick around there. Hitting a group doing the queen is always a nice surprise.
I’ve been doing daily resource runs on Southsun Cove for the last month or so for some extra money, and I’ve seen quite a few occasions where people gather on Southsun to do the queen. In fact, since the Ascended Armor update it seems almost like a regular thing that people will pop by, do the events, and slay the queen (before moving on to other bosses). Gotta get them Dragonite and Karka Shells I guess.
I usually do my resource runs between 1 hour and 3 hours after reset, and in the past week I’d guess I’ve probably joined in on a queen-killing run that happened to be going during the same period at least 4 times. There even seem to be people coming to Southsun asking if anyone is doing the queen while she’s on cooldown.
This is on Tarnished Coast.
Very few people stick around for anything other than the Queen or resource runs, though.

There is one other thing to stick around for. Clearing the center camp of karkas after killing the karka queen.
Karka Queen gets done fairly often on Desolation. People generally don’t bother with the events unless they are going to spawn the queen.
