Hello there, a couple of weeks ago I bought a set of aesthetic equipment from the gem store (the primeval one, if my memory serves me well) but I don’t know ho to equip it. Every time I double click one of these items it comes a window where i’m asked wich item to transmute into, so i put a piece of my armor but the color in the window remains red, indicating that i can’t transmute that item, so I’m stuck with these items in the bag/bank and I can’t use it.
Anyone can help me please? I try to apply this armor every time i pick up a new equipment from quests/vendor but the result is always the same

Do you have the transmutation stones necessary to do it? Basic for level 1-79 gear and Fine for level 80 gear.

I bought the stones too but maybe some step is missing. Once I have the stones and the equpiment what should I do next?

A. Double-click a transmute stone. There are at least two levels of transmute stones so make sure you have one big enough to handle your gear level. The stone’s level limits are listed on the stones.

B. Drag the two matching slot and weight gear choices into the left and right slots (two light boots for example).

C. Click the left or right stat window. The stats will move to the center.

D. Click the left or right augment window. The augment moves to the center.

E. Click the gear picture of choice. It moves to the center.

F. At this point, if all is good, the “Item Transmutation” button will highlight. Click that button to complete or the X button at the top to cancel.

G. Once something moves to the middle, the discarded set disappears. Click the center selected piece to bring up both choices again.

Still got none, I attached an image of the procedure i’m doing without success.
The first attempt I do is:
1.Double click the transmutation stone, the transmutation window comes up
2. I put my armor piece on the left/right and the aesthetic piece on the other side but it remains red. No access.

The second attempt is:
1. Double click on the aesthetic piece, the transmutation window comes up
2. The aesthetic piece automatically puts itself on the left
3. I put my armor piece on the other side but it remains red. No access.

I have basic and fine transmutation stones but both give me the same result. What am I missing? Can’t I combine aesthetic gear with combat gear at all? In that case how can i use the aesthetic gear?

I’m sorry to disappoint you, but it seems, that you bought a skin for heavy armor type while your engineer wears medium amor type :/

Ok no probs if I can send these items to an alt who can use those items…what do you say?

I’m guessing you can, they’re not Soulbound afaik, only account bound.. Right?

I cannot look ingame, but the wiki says, it is account bound. So you should be fine.
