I currently have 1660 AP and I’m doing a lot of jumping puzzles. What are some other easy ways to get AP? Thanks for any tips:)

Do the personal story with each race, use different weapons and get the slayer and weapon master achievements, explore the entire world, do your dailies and monthlies, and try a little SPVP.

The best way to figure it out is to click your achievement tab (left side of the hero panel, towards the bottom of the tabs) and review the subcategories. Anything that appeals to you at that moment, go do it! It can appeal for the fun of doing it, or because you’re only 5 bat kills away from a tier, or because doing it will dovetail into other game goals — the reason will vary with the player and the moment.

I agree, even if you’re focusing on something, check the “summary” tab of the achievements menu and note any achievements in the lower right corner that you’re close to completing. It might be helpful to you, or it might not, but if you want to get achievements through normal gameplay without making a conscious effort of it, just see what your normal routines help you work towards and make slight deviations to finish something you’re close to being done with.

i personally recommend doing as many of the dailes as you can, always try and complete every monthly and every living world achievement as you only get so long to do them, all the rest will just come from playing the game

I suggest you DON’T get hung up on doing every Monthly or Living Story one. You can waste a LOT of effort working on some specific last tier that nets you very little additional AP. Certainly get the metas (that give decent AP and rewards), but don’t “grind” content you don’t enjoy just get a few more AP.

You can get plenty of AP by just playing the game and keeping an eye on what you are close to getting and possibly putting a bit of effort in finishing up those.

DO the Dailies every day (if possible) and do a few extra if they are not out of your comfort zone or on your way to something else. Same with the Monthlies.

EotM is also a great place to get some AP. Just run with the zerg for awhile and watch the AP climb.

I’d say it would take you about 30 min to an hour with a half decent commander to get all the WvW dailies done and work on all the others (including many of the Season 2 AP).

I’m not just talking about the dailies. I racked up about 50AP in just a few days, about an hour a day, just doing all the other captures, ring the bell, etc.
