Guild Wars 2

I been trying to get HRes, HDef screenshots since I’ve seen a lot of people posting on different sites such as tumblr.com

At the moment I’ve been using fraps to take screens but still the images don’t seem to be as crisp as the ones i have seen around the web and since Printscreen is not working with GW2 I can’t take a raw image.

I’ve been using photoshop to do some edits more with light and surface texture but it still seems dull

There is a in game screenshot feature, look through your keybindings to find it.

Ahh … PrintScreen/SysReq button on the keyboard. Maybe if you are on a laptop this button isn’t as easy to access but it’s function is sort of obvious.

There is a commandline option to generate .bmp instead of .jpg as well. JPEG compression can make so parts look very bad.

Compression artifacts.
Look at the red warning message in the images. The first is with the default and the second is with the -bmp option.

This helped allot thank you…. I wish there was a PNG format then a BMP but this works

Hit crtl alt h first! People always ruin their shots having the HUD on.

I’d rebind ctrl alt h — that’s a lot to hit in a hurry. I have my UI toggle on F11, nicely near the PrintScreen key.

The thing is PrintScreen does not work on my Desktop with gw2 it always SShot the desktop or what ever programs i have running under GW2
