Hello everyone. As your all well aware, HOT has dropped, and there were a lot of changes to the game, some I still don’t fully understand. So, my question is, how do I get the best armor for a level 80 char? It used to be farming dungeons for the armor I wanted. But now it seems there making those less useful. I don’t know if i’ll buy HOT yet. So I won’t have that dlc. But how do I get the good level 80 exotic armor? Fractals, or still dungeons? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I’d suggest the karma vendors in Orr – I just got a full set of exotic berserker armor for my Revenant yesterday, and all it really took was a little time to run there from Lion’s Arch. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Temple_armor Some of the vendors also sell trinkets. Just remember that everything you buy from them is soulbound.

As for dungeons, all I’ve heard is that you get less gold from running them now. If you’re farming for the dungeon tokens to buy armor, my guess is you’ll be fine. I haven’t read up on the fractal changes much.

In Heart of Thorns, or rather, the Heart of Maguuma maps, you will get obliterated if you don’t wear protection. Just mix in a little toughness, a hint of vitality, and a few condi clears and heals! Berserker may be the fastest way to kill mobs, but in Magus Falls it’s mainly the fastest way to a respawn.
