Looking for the fastest/cheapest way to get some bags. Suggestions?

Keep in mind, I’ve had this game since the 3 day head start and I’ve only just hit level 17!

All armor crafting professions can craft bags. 8 slots bags are pretty easy to get. Apart from that, you’ll probably have to buy them off the trading post. I have not seen any other source for bags…

Tailoring or leatherworking. Make your own
P.S. Take tailor if you wear light armor and leatherworking for medium armor. You always want to have the craft that matches your armor. At max level you will be making your own exotic gear.

Crafting. It doesn’t take a lot to make them and you can make bags and boxes. Of course…. could just use the trading post.

8 slot bags take the very basic materials, and the pattern can be crafted at skill lvl 0. So yeah. You can also buy 4 slot bags from many merchants, but they are pretty pitiful :S

your 4 slot bags will be cheap at vendors, 8 slots use things like copper and jute
(lowest level materials)

As Kal implies, but the others fail to mention, armorsmithing can also make “bags” (boxes actually, but they work the same). It takes 10 bronze ingot and I think that’s about it. They’re easy.

The first thing I did on my tailor, leatherworker and armoursmith was to refine mats. The second thing I did was to make some 8-slot bags… all this before L10. Very inexpensive to make and very easy to accumulate the mats needed. The cost of the reagents for the low side of tier 1 is also negligible.

You can get mats the moment you start the game and have enough copper to afford a mining pick. This will be pretty quick. at lvl 10 I had enough to craft four boxes. You are easily at the level to be able to make your own. As it sounds like you haven’t been harvesting the nodes you may just want to buy them.

The definitive way to get bags is going into the Black Lion Trading Post and buying all my (note emphasis) bags.
