Hey guys I just started pvping, and i hate my pvp weapons and i really need new looking ones. I know the patch said no more glory points are rewarded so I was wondering how would i go about getting new pvp weapons?

I think you have to wait till April 15 update or else try buying a skin from vendors.I think you can convert them to PvP.not sure about it

What vendors do i buy the skins from?

merchants in wvw sell skins but I am not sure whether you can convert them to PvP weapon

What do i buy them with? cuz i just started and i pvp alot im at rank 15 but i still ahve this lame sword and shield lol

If you like PvP, go ahead and play. You will gain ranks at least.

Or you could play PvE and save all nice looking equipment you come across. Then on Tuesday you can add them to your Wardrobe.

After the Tuesday patch you will have “Tracks” that you can select to level up(I guess that’s the right word?). The tracks range from pvp specific gear ( only way to get it is through spvp) to dungeon gear and area gear( Like Krytan, Shiverpeaks, Ascalonian) and as you level up a specific track you unlock skins along with some other nifty items.

Also you will get transmutation charges depending on what rank you are AFTER the patch (they will rework ranks, so with you being rank 15 now you will be a bit higher after patch). So the higher rank you are now the more you will be able to swap gear for free after the patch

As you’ve only just started PvP, you won’t be able to buy anything from the vendors because it will require Glory to buy any of the item chests which you will not be able to gain any more.

You will have to wait until after the 15th, then you’ll be able to apply any skins you have already gained in PvE onto PvP weapons and armor with transmutation charges.

Well if you are good in pvp, having lame weapons can cause people to underestimate you, as people generally associate nice gear with skill.

Alternatively, you can get achievement chests which do grant a few pvp pieces.
