Guild Wars 2

Hello everyone!, I bought my GW2 Account around a year ago, I loved GW1 and I loved how it worked and it’s instance system. After playing GW1 I decided to try World of Warcraft, It was kind of a shock how everything worked there, it was good, but when GW2 got released it was kind of difficult for me to adapt, I sometimes feel lost and don’t know what to do or how to scale in game, I have a lvl 40 Necromancer and I need some advices and guidance to improve my experience as a solo player, I don’t know what do to not get bored when I play, how to understand the living world, etc.

Unfortunately PvE in GW2 is lacking IMO. That said there are things that can be done. The first is to check out a site called Dulfy.net. They have guides for the living stories, jumping puzzles, achievements, etc. These guides are the How To of GW2 content.

The second and this may sound strange is to get a pet. On the necro the minion master is probably the more fun necro build to level in open world PvE. You never feel alone and the pack takes some of the pressure off in fights.

The last thing is to join a solid PvE guild. Good guilds typically have one or more times per week where they run PvE content together. That comradery is a big part of what makes MMOs fun.

I agree on getting a guild. I would have left the game months ago if it wasn’t for the good people I spend time with. Get your necro up to lvl 80 and geared then hit WvW. Once you get in the groove of fighting actual players and working as a team you will get the bug and won’t be able to stay away.
