Guild Wars 2

I only did this today 1st and second time but I just stumbled upon the anomaly running through the land. How to find the starting point of this event? Map on GW2Timer seems to be showing wrong locations :/

Well i got two of some kind of rocks from somewhere if you have it on your char it tells you where anomaly appeared. I’m bad with remembering stuff sorry cant remember where i got them

In answer to this question specifically you can get a Ley-Infused Stone from Ela Makkay which will tell you which map the Anomaly will appear on next, but it’s exact location within the map is random. When it spawns there will be a game-wide announcement and a boss icon will be visible from anywhere within that map, so as long as you’re on the right one you’ll be able to find it.

Avelione’s probably talking about the Anomaly boss’ spawn point, not the map it spawns in. To answer that question: there are about 8 spawn points per map (and there are 3 maps the Anomaly event happens in). When the event starts, the game picks one point randomly to spawn the boss there. The red circles you see on the website are his possible spawn points. Since it’s random, the website defaults to one spawn point in the active Anomaly map.
