How to learn New Krytan
An example of notepad using New Krytan font:

Also – random little note here – there’s another thing to help learn if you have an android phone (likely iphone too but I don’t have one so I don’t know). There’s a free app in the Google Play store that’s a New Krytan Translator. Handy little thing to have on the go to play with if you’re looking to learn it or just bored.

Good idea.
I once taught myself a runic alphabet (basically Elder Futhark with few variations), originally so I could read the map that came with my copy of Ultima Online (all the place names were written in runes, very pretty but not very practical) and I found the key to learning and remembering it basically came down to practice.
I’d write out the alphabet in both English (Latin technically) and runic letters in the borders of my notes during boring classes, write notes to myself in runes, randomly challenge myself to remember the rune for a particular letter occasionally etc. In a kind of sad way it was fun.
And sometimes knowing another alphabet, especially a relatively obscure one comes in useful. I sometimes use it (combined with a fairly basic code) to write down passwords for example. Plus I can show off by reading the text on the front of most copies of The Hobbit.
