I have been inactive for about 5 months due to examsand now i am starting again. I juat want to know what ways are there to make gold now? Last time i checked it was just repeating CoF path 1 over and over. Thanks

there are plans in the works that seem to be intended to nerf dungeon farming, but we’ll see how effective that is.

I don’t believe there has ever been one sure-fire way to make gold in GW2, unless it has been via a gimmick—like CoF P1 with food buffs.

With that said, I have a question;

How is it possible for people to post items on the TP for prices in excess of 200G?

Rare dyes for example, are at that price and legendary weapons sit around the 1000G+ mark. After 1000 hours of play, I am just approaching the 200G mark myself, I can not comprehend how it is possible.

Play the trading post or run CoF or CoE for a while and you will see how they can do it. I have talked with people that play the TP and they say they can get a profit of about 40 to 50 gold a day. And no i don’t know how they are doing it, so don’t ask me.

Do as many daily boss events as possible to get rares, salvage them and sell ectos works as well.

On average, you net more by selling the rares as is, unless you have an endless free source of BL salvage kits. Just saying.

Thanks all. Ill just stick with cof p1 for now and see what happens. As to playing the TP . I guess that requires some more googling.

As long as we can’t access the TP over web (like in WoW), I’m not gonna waste my precious playtime fumbling with the TP But maybe that’s just me.
