How to pick a server?
Servers are now more about WvW gameplay than anything use. Guilds are cross server and megaserver tech populates maps from players across servers. You can look at the current WvW rankings here.

Generally higher population servers have naturally a higher population of WvW players which get reflected by rank.

I live in NA, theres a lot of servers though, and I don’t have any friends playing this game, how do I pick a server good for me? Should I look for a guild first?
If you’re on NA pick BlackGate and if you’re on EU pick Desolation
