How to test run classes at max level?
Mist as in Heart of The Mists > PvP
Since the pvp part of the game is not gear locked, you come in with all the skills and traits available as if you were lvl 80 while not having the need of being geared to play.
So yes it,s a test ground (do use Hotjoints for this)
There are also NPCs for each class, plus groups of light, medium, and heavy armoured golems in Heart of the Mists itself, so you can try out builds, rotations etc. on an enemy to test your damage without having to go into a match.
I’ve heard that you can try out classes somewhere in the mists. Which battleground map and npc offers such services? Thanks!
When you have found your way to Heart of the Mist don’t forget to enable logging in chat from in game. That way you be able to see how skill and effects (incl conditions) work in numbers.
The only thing that is missing is buffs from food/tools as those isn’t active in PvP environment.
Disclaimers: There are some configurations that aren’t available to you in the mists and the AI of the NPCs doesn’t create very realistic fighting conditions.
However, it’s otherwise a very good spot to test out theorycrafted builds to see if your calcs are accurate, if you can maintain optimal rotations under optimal conditions.
