Guild Wars 2

When I was playing my Norn ranger my bear had no problem holding aggro but when I was on my Sylvari ranger also using bear, mobs often hit me instead. And then I die. Can I drop/transfer aggro or make the pet taunt?

I’m a Sylvari Ranger and I don’t really have this issue or I do and I just don’t notice it. But I often kite and if my bear misses the mob initially eventually he will pick it up.

The Pets taunt automatically, Try to use the attack my target F1 key before you start to attack the target that will enable the pet to pick up aggro first.
