I am considering buying the Protector’s armor (AKA the human tier 3 cultural heavy armor) and while previewing it on my character I noticed that part of the shoulder armor was appearing gray although I have no gray dye on any part of my armor. Is this a visual bug with the preview or will it look like that when I buy it as well. (keep in mind the only color dye that I have on any part of my armor at all is Midnight fire and Illumination dye)

looks like it’s just a blank dye space, since your current armor only has two colors

^ Yup, what Mystic said.

It’s not a bug. Your preview window is currently using the dyes of your current armor. If your armor only has 1 or 2 dye slots (like gloves) and the previewed armor has more, then it will default the extra dye slots to gray (or “undyed”).

I would recommend adding dyes to the preview where the dye channels are (either from dyes in your inventory or from the TP).
