Would anyone like to group up and make her spawn then kill her? For the Hydra Queen achievement under the “Boss” tab. It rewards a dragon chest and a bonus chest!

This took me a long time to get. I kept checking the area every time I logged in – never anything besides “The Lionguard are preparing to attack Laughing Gull Island and Taidha Covington.”

How I eventually got it: my friend told me about the ‘Worlds currently active on’ part of the wiki
go to http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Kill_Admiral_Taidha_Covington
on the right, just under the picture, there is a “Worlds currently active on [fetch]”
clicking fetch will tell you something like “Not active on any world.”
just do this for all the events in the chain.
the first time he told me about this, no world was doing any event in this chain. It was pretty funny. next day, TC was doing the last bit, so I raced over there and killed her

Both times I’ve seen it done (recently at least) has been right after a new build, so I’m guessing that makes it easier to start again? Just something to keep in mind since they seem to come up rather frequently now, if one happens while you’re on I’d jump over and check…

If you use one of the timers (like GW2stuff.com) you can see if Taidha Covington is up on any world you can guest on. It tags the pre-events as well. Keep your eyes open and I am sure it will trigger.
