Well, I went to my trading post and typed in Upgrades, but no upgrades came up let alone the Digital deluxe upgrade? Whats up with Arena?

Umm just open BLTC and click the heading on the right that says upgrades

I started my game and went to the my trading post and clicked O and then clicked Gems and at the top was a toolbar.I clicked on Digital Deluxe upgrade.I clicked on it and STILL nothing happened. Why doesn’t this work? What am I doing wrong to get this upgrade? Please explain how to do this SIMPLY step by step.

How many gems do you have? If you do not have at least 2000 gems, you will not be able to purchase the upgrade. If you do have enough, then you should click on the box that says “2000” two times – without moving the mouse between clicks. The first click tells the trading post that you want to buy the upgrade and brings up a “Confirm” option. The second click confirms your purchase. If you move the mouse between clicks, it cancels the buying process.

After you successfully purchase the upgrade, you need to log out and log back in so that the account changes can take effect.

I am at level 11 and am a Guardian. Why do I need 2,000 gems? What? So I can’t purchase this deluxe uprade until I get these gems? Thats discrimination. I never have seen ONE gem yet, let alone 2,000 of them. What level do I have to be to get these gems anyway?

I would purchase the digital upgrade with an online payment. But I didn’t see any place to click on after I clicked on confirm to do this? I tell ya, I never seen anything so hard to do? You think Arena would want my money?

It’s extremely easy. Just purchase gems with a CC or use in game gold to get the gems. I don’t know what you’re talking about when you say discrimination. Frankly you just sound silly.

You don’t find gems from mobs etc. You purchase them. It is pretty much a cash shop.

And like i said, you can also spend no money and wait to trade gold/silver for gems. It’s actually very generous of Anet to allow this. Most games make you buy their cash shop currency, without giving you the option to trade in game currency for it.

So the steps are…

1.) Using either a CC/(or gift card that can be used as a CC), OR saving enough in game money, use either of these to purchase gems.

2.) Use gems to purchase the deluxe upgrade.

Simple.

Oh also, to help further. There’s a tab when you press “O” that asks if you want to purchase gem. Obviously you use that to purchase them.

It’s the same as purchasing with real money, only you turn that real money into gem currency first.
