As the title says, what can be done? Any refunds? If I buy a different ascended ring, can I equip that one?

Unfortunately, I don’t think there is a way to refund it. However, if you somehow have another character who one day may find it useful, all ascended jewelry is account bound, even if you previously equipped it on another character.

Edit: If you get a different ascended ring, you can equip it. I know they don’t tell you this outside the wiki, but you just can’t equip two ascended accessories that are the same name.

You should submit a support ticket. They will sometimes refund it.

When they were soulbound, support would exchange a duplicate ring. I haven’t read if the policy is still the same but it’s likely not changed.

To make a ticket go to:
Support-top of page then Submit a request-top of page.
There are 2 drop down buttons that need to be selected on that page.

Make one of them infused then you can use both as they then count as two separate unique items. I did it on my thief a while back until I had the second zerk ascended ring

Just transfer it to another character. At least 5 classes do very well with ascended berserker rings.
