when i try to get into WvW it comes up with a message ‘you have turned your back on your previous world too recently to be welcomed back into the mist war but you may still battle in the edge of mists’ WvW was working good yesterday i am so confused can anyone tell me what’s wrong thanks

did you transfer to a new server?

yes i did but the WvW was working fine yesterday lol

you cant enter wvw for the duration of the weeks matchup on the new server if you transfered. because for this matchup you are bound to your old server

from march 18th patchnotes:

Transferring worlds during a tournament will prevent players from entering the Mist War for the duration of their current matchup and the following WvW matchup.

Players are still able to play in the Edge of the Mists during this period.

no you just cant enter the current and following week matchup on your server so the week after that ye can enter on your new server;)

I only play WvW, this means I cannot play for two weeks or what? I paid 1400 gems, real life money, to be “banned” from WvW for two weeks? I don’t agree.

The reason they stop transferees from going into WvW is because there were people who would transfer to the opposing side in the middle of a matchup then deliberately sabotage that server by tying up supply, spying, etc…

You can thank these people for you not being able to get WvW until a cooling off period is over.
