A name change for my mesmer. I would appreciate this soooooo much. It’s quite literally like having a tattoo of your ex’s name.

I used to run a TF2 trade server, and we’d give away items like this every day. I remember when I gave a confetti unusual to a random person and they nearly had a heart attack from the gratitude. Feels good to make people happy!

I’ve not managed to accumulate much in this game yet. I have 400 Armorsmith and 2.5 gold. If anyone’s willing to gift me a Watchwork Mining Pick I’ll pass it on as soon as I’ve earnt enough to do some good with.

This might be a long shot, but I’d really like to have a copy of HoT. I was laid off together with a bunch of my (ex)colleagues due to the O&G downturn. I now work part-time while trying to find my way back into the workforce (which also happens to give me more free time to game… yay? )

As if that wasn’t bad enough, my currency (MYR) was one of the worst-hit vs. USD in recent times. Historically it has been around 3.3x range; last I checked it’s 4.24, so the game would cost me an extra ~MYR50 roughly.

I never thought I’d post online hoping for someone to gift me a game, but one can always hope :-). In exchange, I have some extra copies of steam games (which you may already have, they’re all from humble bundles and such), help you out in-game in GW2, either via helping with content or giving you any mats that I have. I haven’t been extremely active until recently, and although it is a 3-year old account, I only have about 7,000 AP to my name.

Given time, I probably would be able to procure myself a copy; but I really hope I can be there with you guys at launch.

I returned to the game about 2-3 months ago and started a new character that is now my first lvl 80 My gear is only exotics and I’m trying to save my gold to exchange for gems so I can get the Living World S2 and then crafting myself better gear. Since the Living World Stuff isn’t giftable I’d really appreciate it if some kind soul could gift me the Dreamcleaver Logging Axe and help me reduce my gathering costs a bit.

I’m playing the game again (haven’t since early 2013) and i missed all the living story season 2 stuff so it is behind a paywall for me now.

I’m also kind of overwhelmed, the guild i was in was seemingly disbanded. So now i have no friends, no guildies, or anyone to ask for help. More than anything what i would really like is someone who can give me a place to talk to other people and have in this game. Like a guild ;P.

I don’t really want anything but some good advice on how to succeed in the game. What i’ll do is pass that on to someone else who is new(or returning) and may need help. =)

best gift for me would be HoT for my friend.. i cant afford to gift it to him and he cant afford to buy it :/

Life has gotten in the way too much atm maybe when it settles some and i have more playing time.

You can not mail one you have. They account bound when receive. You can send as gift through gem store though.

This is probably a long-shot, but I would really love to be gifted the Heart of Thorns expansion.
I’ve been playing gw2 since the 3 day head start, and missing out on this is very depressing for me. I am unemployed and live in a poor country, and am unable to buy this online, even if I did have the money.
I understand if this is asking too much – times are tough for many. Figured it was worth a try though.

I recently got back into playing GW2 about two weeks ago. I stopped playing during the Gauntlet event and Aetherblade attacks. PC went out and the laptop couldn’t really handle the game, but now that I have a new PC, I’m really appreciating the game. I’ve been doing stuff solo, exploring and jumping in and out of WVW games, and finding the random jumping puzzles here and there. The graphics are really amazing.

I got into crafting to help lvl some and then I heard about ascended crafting. I saw the ascended spinal blades and immediately said I wanted to work towards getting them – the red ones. I’m now 400 skill lvl in armorsmith and will be spending some of the gold I acquired from farming SilverWastes. I’ve gotten to the exotic spinal blades and here is my issue. I didn’t know how much gold the Static Assault Knight Power Cores were going to be. 20g per and I need 10. Upon finding this out, I thought there was no way I could afford completing it any time soon.

If someone has a spare Power Core to give, that would be awesome. Also looking for a guild that does events and farming. Would love to run with a pack into the new content… TIA.

Hi I bought the game a while a go but never tried it out until recently, now I have i’m really enjoying it. However I have no money to spend on gems and I would really like either one of the eternal picks (like the bone pick), a starter pack or a cool outfit. I would like the pick the most but I’d be really happy with anything. If anyone does get me any one of these items I’d just like to say thank you in advance.

I’ve been playing GW2 off and on ever since release (gave GW1 a go, but was such a filthy casual I just couldn’t cope and ran back to WoW on my night elf hunter). Trying several classes, all the while leveling them to 80 through getting ganked by thieves in WvW, one shot in dungeon paths, and many, many lost games in Courtyard spvp matches. Even though I loved spending time with in-game friends and my humbly tiny roaming guild, I could never really find a profession that ‘clicked’ for me. I was essentially just playing for the memories and that sweet, sweet chance at Dawn dropping.

Then Revenant was announced. Hot kitten , it was like a chubby kid got locked inside the twinkie factory overnight. From the first trailer, all the way up to the BWE3, I was HOOKED.

You see, back in WoW, I mained a warrior. And the thing I loved most about being a warrior was ‘stance dancing’, where rather than mashing all of your buttons, you’d rapidly swap between three different stances as the situation called for it, being potentially hugely rewarded for this sort of optimal battle twerking.

Sadly, Duty calls and I deploy in two months, and am decidedly spending my remaining time with my family before I leave to basic and as such am not currently working. I’d like to, just to give me something else to do, but I’m somewhat skeptical I’d be able to find much work with my shipout date being so soon. But of course if I was I’d be buying the expansion in a heartbeat if only to get my fill of revenant before shipping off. I know I’ll be buying HoT regardless when I do graduate bootcamp, but that’s two months plus the eight weeks away and I’m finding it all but impossible to play and enjoy vanilla GW2 every time I log in and see one of those dark armored heavies zipping around on the eternal battlegrounds.

So, yeah. A shot in the dark I know, but a shot in the dark from a dude who just wants to play the dream class he’s been gushing over like a little tyke for the past few months :p least while the family’s busy or away

Edit: nvm! Just got a call today and I ship out in less than three weeks! Priority first, looks like I’ll be buying HoT after I leave booty and hit A school, can’t wait. Glad to help out where I could in this thread, cya guys in a few months!

I am surprised at this thread a lot of people seem really generous. I usually find asking for hand outs to be a pretty terrible thing but you never know I guess. Here is my story

So I have been bouncing back and forth between a ton of mmos for a really long time and never have I ever in all my years actually fully maxed out any character on any game. I have never reached the level cap and I have decided that I really want to change that.

I have narrowed down the games I am play to just a few and Guild Wars 2 is one of them. Now I have to really focus and finally reach this mystical “end game” people are always talking about.

With that said my humble request is for anything to help me level, things like experience boosters or any other items to make sure I get myself to the level cap. Thanks

I’ve always thought the Ghastly Grinning Shield skin looked amazing. I never thought to get one when they were first released though. It wouldn’t get used anyway. But now that I see Revenants can use shields, I think it would be awesome to have one.

Unfortunately, there’s no chance I’ll ever be able to earn enough gold to get one, based on my work schedule. Heck, i’ve had the game since head start, and I haven’t even been able to craft my first legendary between trying to juggle work and all of the interspersed content releases, lol.

I don’t expect anyone to gift it to me. It’s far too expensive at this point. But it’s the one thing in-game that I’ve always regretted not getting when I had the chance.

This post is great, I’m not expecting anything but might as well give it a shot.

My year would easily be made by a Chaos Bow or Staff skin! I have like the WORST luck with black lion tickets and keep giving my gold to my husband for his usually failed endeavors.

I’m working on the bat shoulders. I had requested glacial lodestones; many thanks to the person who sent me a few towards the start and gave me that little spur of determination to keep going.

I have just bought my last few lodestones. So I’m just 205 linseed oil away from those darned things! Hooray!

Edit: Nightfury is COMPLETE. The Wintersday drop in linseed oil prices got me to the final push. Again, thank you, person with the Asura name who gave me a few lodestones at the beginning. (I won’t name you exactly since you didn’t say I could/should).

Hello community of generous players. I would like to start off by saying what a wonderful thread this is. I’ve gone through and read the previous acts of generosity that many players have shown and i cant help but feel hope. Faith in humanity restored.

I am never one to be so lucky and I wont be too surprised if this post goes unnoticed, however I am willing to try my hand in luck today.

I play a thief in Darkhaven by the name Jedth. GW2 being the first ever mmorpg i’ve dipped by toes in, i’m not too familiar with the social aspect of mmorpg.

I’m posting here asking for two things.
1. The first of which is a sword. And no, i will not ask for any legendary or precursors as i know how hard people work to get those. Instead I am looking for something like the Lord Taeres’s Shadow (or some other cool looking sword :P) It seems that all the sword that are even remotely cool are too expensive for me to afford

2. Secondly i would like to ask for friendly players who would like to be friends! I believe i need more friends in this game in order to fully get immersed in it.

Aside from that, I really want like to be able to help my partner afford the Mini Gwynefyrdd this year. He opened countless ToT bags last year when it was only a rare account-bound drop with no luck, and now that she can be purchased with cobs we’ve been spending as much time as we can trying to farm them up, but it’s slow going.

He’s currently at 29/100 cobs. If anyone could help out and send a few my way, I’d be incredibly grateful!

I have never really asked for anything and so feel guilty for doing this but I am a returning player after a year out. I play a ranger and just got the druid spec. I now can use a staff!

The thing is though that it seems I missed the chaos and pact weapons skins when they were only 1 ticket and they are way too expensive on the TP for me to get.

So here is my request… If anybody would be willing to send me those skins (or even any of the non-necro looking staff skins) I would be eternally grateful. I have already been scanning this post waiting for somebody who needs something I can pass on so I will be definitely be paying it forward. Thank You!!

i made my Mesmer as a bank alt, but after playing him for abit i fell in love with him and he is now my main, but when i created this character with the intention of having him just be my bank, i made him look stupid, and i regret it quite alot now XD! id really love to be able to get a total make over kit so i can look awesome, but i am unable to buy gems as of late, and as a wvw roamer ill never be able to get the 350 gems it requires through gold, i barely stay over 5g thanks to having to buy food all the time etc, so id really appreciate it if somebody could gift me one and id pay you back however i can :’D!

Hi everyone! This is a long shot, but I’d honestly really love someone to gift me HoT if that’s possible. I don’t have any like, awesome story to try and convince you, I just really like the sound of playing with the Daredevil spec on my Thief and the Druid spec on Rangers. They sound hella awesome. Along with guild halls and just…content. I love love love GW2 but I want more content.

I don’t really have a story of sorts, but I’ve really wanted the Vision of the Mists & Whisperblade (Mostly Vision of the Mists) for some time, I play a mesmer main and between working on various ascended peices, trying to get crafts to 500 slowly, but surely and dailies I’m finding myself constantly hovering around 50-100g before losing it all or never having the time or smarts to make bank. But that being said I would love to return any kind done to me back to the community, hell I’ve been looking for opportunity to help out in this thread since I love the idea so.

But yeah, would be amazing if someone could help me become fabulous :>

For me personally, I have always wanted and been working towards Predator. If I could get the Hunter or Tier 6 mats from anyone I’d appreciate it but at the same time I know it is a tall order. So obviously it is more than understandable people wouldn’t feel comfortable with such.

That is really all I want though, will keep an eye on this thread time to time to see if I can help someone within my own means. o7

Wow this is one awesome thread. I have been dreaming about owning my own Mini Gwynefyrdd since I saw it on the arena net page last year. I did the Halloween events at least daily last year , but no Mini Gwynefyrdd in my bags and no way to acquire it in any other way. Now I can buy it for 100 Candy cobs and have been opening bags like a crazy person to get that. I have 31 now but it is still long way from 100 so I ask humbly for help. If anyone has some cobs or even the candy corn I would be forever grateful

This is such a nice idea for a thread.
I’m a relatively new player, but I’m dying for more bank space! I haven’t got the money right now to get any gems for a bank tab though, so I’m stuck with the first one only. I’d love for even just one more tab!

I like to help others out, so it’s really nice to see other players out there doing the same thing.

So, while I save for my precursor, which is a long, hard road, I have less disposable gold at hand. (For example I will not be able to get the batwing back piece and bloody prince outfit while they are in the gem store. ) But, there is a player I know of that really wants the little mini gwyn and has not been able to play much during the events this year. I would like to help her get the cute ghost puppy. I’m trying to save my cobs for her, but it may not be enough before the event is over, and I can’t buy a bunch of cobs for her without setting myself back months on Dusk.

If anyone has a few extra cobs I could send to her and help make her dream come true, I would appreciate it greatly. <3

I’ve always wanted the wings ever since I saw someone wearing them. Then I realized they were limited and thought I would never be able to get them again. I logged on today after a few days because of work and I saw that they were back! I don’t know how long they’re here and I only have 50 gold. I’m going to try my hardest to make the gold but if anyone could possibly send me a little bit it would be really really appreciated! Not a lot, just any little bit helps.
