Guild Wars 2

So I have a level 80 warrior and love it but I want to make a new class now. The class I want next is range attack but does good amount of damage. I made a Mesmer character and love it, I went to SPVP and love it. I’m a huge fan on WvW so I don’t know what they are like in WvW.

Ele I tried and liked but died so easy, was I playing it right?

Guardian is a beast really, good damage but all those buffs just keeps your alive. I have a warrior thought so I don’t want to do that sort of style again.

Any ideas?

If you want great ranged attack, ele is powerful across the board. They are a bit on the squishy side while levelling, but traited in late game they are near impossible to kill.

Are mesmers good? I had ago with them and they seem pretty good because there clones

The easiest way to figure out what you want is pick a profession, go to the Heart of the Mists and engage in SPvP. I did this with a Mesmer and loved it. Took 5 people to kill me and I had no idea what I was doing.
I’ve played an Elementalist to 80 and ended up deleting the character. I know some people love the profession but compared to Necromancers and Mesmers they’re utter crap. Same amount of DPS, less bas health (Necros have 36k base health, just make one and go to the HotM and see what I mean). Mesmers dominate in SPvP and WvWvW whereas Ele’s are very squishy. However as mentioned above when traited properly they are nigh unkillable end game.

As I said though make what you think you want, go to the Heart of the Mists and try it out. You’ll have all your skill points (no traits though) and can figure it out.

I think I’ll go with mesmer, I loved it in spvp as well. Are you able to oost your build so I csn try it out in spvp as well. Also which race would you pick as a mesmer.
