Guild Wars 2

I really enjoy the game and the possibilities it gives in playing different contents. However, I struggle to keep up with all the new contents and miss a lot of new items and achievements that are introduced. My time online is often reduced in finishing daylies and monthlies and if I have time to spare I enjoy playing WvW. But another important part for me is the fashion! It happens that I suddenly come across a totaly new skin on TP but have no clue when or why it was introduced. With it I have the feeling that all the stuff you can not sell/buy on TP is passing me without even knowing! Without keeping up-to-date with newly introduced skins, armor and weapons I feel pretty lost.

So my question is how do you keep up-to-date with any newly introduced items, events and also Skill-/Traitbased changes?

I try to read the forums regularly, I still seem to miss a lot. Also gw2-wiki is regularly visited but that only shows the same information as the forum unless you know what to search for…

Any help is much appreciated!

dulfy is pretty good actually. I hadn’t thought of that. The old wiki for GW1 was very extensive but I guess that’s a thing of the past. I do wish Anet would be a bit clearer on the content they bring out. It’s kinda odd you have to go to a player to find out what’s going on.

I hesitated to read Dulfy for some time because I’m one of those figure it out myself types. But having limited time as well and if I see an achievement I want to obtain during that time I’ll check it out for some pointers. Dulfy was pretty much the only reason I got the Lessons From the Sky achievement during Four Winds.

Dulfy is a great idea. I used to go there on some occasions but forgot about it. Thanks for that one!

Regarding the links on my log in screen I think those are quite confusing. Sometimes I see that my player downloads new content but no new link is being shown or the other way around.
And as it occurs that I do not log in for a few days there might be several new links but the initial description does not give you the chance to distinguish if it contains any updates or something like an interview of what might be some time… I think the link descriptions should be more accurate so I do not have to read through 5-8 of them when not logging in for some days just to find out that more than half of them contained not what I have been expecting to read.

Sadly one day dulfy will miss the content and then will come the trouble…lets cross fingers so anet decide to let players replay those achievemtns and get chances to get them and the rewards, and at same time give players who already did them new content to worry about and enyoy

Read your daily requirements and living story requirements in game. What happened before does not effect you, what is currently in game is always being highlighted by the daily.

Dulfy is great! Outside of that though, don’t stress if you miss out on some of these events. There isn’t a whole lot of really great things to miss, maybe an occasional skin, but most have been less than good. The only thing you miss most are the achieve points but even then it’s not so bad.

If you’re just really missing the enjoyment of the actual content itself then that does suck. Personally I haven’t played any of it until the Jubilee and I don’t feel like I missed anything.

Anet posts updates on their page. I find little reason to go to Dulfy. Not that I have anything against the site, but I don’t particularly want spoilers, so much as info.

Between the mail I get in game at the beginning of a living story chapter and what’s on the Anet website…I usually have a pretty good idea what’s going on.
