Guild Wars 2

I was watching a fellow on youtube go through some basic methods on making windows run faster in general and he scrolled passed the bit depth option for coloring. I figured if i switch it from True Color (32) down to High Color (16) than it would haveless than half as many colors to process which could help a lot in WvW pvp. Well the desktop doesn’t look amazing on the 16 but not bad either so if you can get passed that than you may find this to work well for you! Or just switch it everytime you play Guild Wars.

My experiene by starting this was being in Queens dale with 32 bit and having no choppy lag but a definite drag and slow camera movement. On 16 bit i barely notice any visual reduction (if you never played the game before you would never notice anything missing) but my FPS went up so much that i could activate both shader quality and post processing while having less FPS than before

I’m not sure how this will work for all computers but it has helped my laptop a lot and i hope it helps other players enjoy their gaming experience more.

Just to clarify, i have got two older laptops running this game in a way that most people claim they can’t because i like to tweak them and see how smooth i can get them to run. I have updated bios and video drivers, minimized visual settings in game and on my video card, did virus searches, defragmented and a whole bunch of other tweaks. This is a LAST RESORT effort for those who are still have issues.
